Learn While You Fly

300-professorHave you ever been on an extended flight and just don’t know what to do with yourself? Those 16 hour flights are really daunting, and not only is strange to sit confined to a small space for such a short amount of time, but you need ways to entertain yourself and help past the time as well (because after all, you really can’t sleep for all of it). Thankfully, you can actually learn while you fly. This engages your mind and also passes the time as well, so it all comes down to what you are looking to learn.

In Flight Entertainment

On the in flight entertainment screen in front of you there are more options than just movies. While a movie here or there is great, you probably cannot watch 16 hours of movies in a row. Instead, there are actually some college level courses provided on the screens. Here you can cover everything from world history to mathematics. If you have a desire to learn any of this, make sure to check it out. Sure, you’re not going to receive college credit, but it is a great way to pass the time.

Tablet

The tablet is one of the best ways to go about increasing your level of education. On your device, you can upload everything from language courses to text books and other educational applications. While you probably are not able to recite everything in an actual lesson, which many language applications and programs require, it should help you with building your knowledge base and to keep your mind working.

Programs

Of course, both on your tablet and on the in flight entertainment, there are educational television programs on where you are flying to and other destinations around the world. You might as well learn while you fly.
