The airline provides in-flight entertainment on all of its mainline aircraft, and Zune provides their audio programming. Passengers can watch television on video-equipped aircraft.


United Airline passengers are allowed one carry on bag along with one personal item. Passengers can also check bags for additional fees. Passengers who are not exempt from checked baggage fees are charged $25 for the first checked bag and $35 for the second checked bag. Passengers can save money on the baggage fees by paying for them online when they check in online within 24 hours of their flights. Checked bags over 50 pounds will need to pay fees for their overweight bags.


United Airlines offers several classes of seats. United Economy is coach seating, and it is available on all of the airline’s aircraft. United First and United Business are available on all domestically configured aircraft. Flights between New York JFK and San Francisco or Los Angeles offer United Premium Service. United BusinessFirst is available on the airline’s internationally configured aircraft.
